Storytelling Evening (Story Competition)

On the Saturday evening, we will be running an evening of sharing poorly written tales of yore! This will include a competition for the best/worst tale, so if you have an amusing story to tell, we would love to hear it. Please submit your written entries to us attached in an email ( with "Story Competition" in the subject header, and include your name so we know who wrote it. We expect tales to be no longer than 1500 words, and last submissions will be accepted on Friday 11th September.

The Trading Post

For the first time, Wild North will offer a scheduled period where attendees can visit the trading post, where dealers, artists, crafters can come to sell their wares. If you are interested in being a trader please give us an email at:

Back by popular demand will be the returned of our feathered friends. Get to see and handle a variety of owls, hawks and buzzards, either in or out of fursuit. There will also be plenty of opportunities for photos.

Do you like swords? Do you like medieval combat? I know I do! I am happy to announce that Sascha SwordSerg, a teacher at the FederWyrm Martial Arts Study Group, will be be hosting swordplay classes during Wild North.

This skilled dragon has over 20 years experience and is certified by the British Combat Association, so if you want to learn some fancy sword play, be on the look out during the convention to show us what you are made of!
