Wild North only happens thanks to the support of our volunteers. All of our volunteers help in different ways, including:

• Convention Operations (Con Ops), providing all areas of the con with the equipment they need.

• Activities planning and running.

• Welfare, keeping our attendees safe and looked after.

• Overseeing Wild North’s finances, insurance, and paperwork (the Organisers, our core team, are volunteers too!)

With the fantastic increase in interest and attendee numbers for 2026, several opportunities have opened for attendees to help make Wild North happen. Here are our current volunteer vacancies.

 

Creative Assistant

Start date: immediately

This will involve helping our creative lead with a few projects. The exact tasks will depend on what we require and what works for you, but it may include coordinating artists/suppliers and helping compile the conbook. We are particularly keen to hear from people with the following experience:

· Graphic design

· Typesetting

· Video directing and storyboarding

· Supplier and artist relations

Whichever role you’re interested in, you will have the full support of our experienced organiser team. We have been running Wild North since 2018, and many of us volunteered at furry events for several years before, so we will be happy to help.
